How To Avoid The Locking Phenomenon Of The Screw Plug?

How to avoid the locking phenomenon of the screw plug?

We often lock up when assembling plugs. What is deadlock? Locking, also known as locking, refers to the phenomenon that the bolt and the nut are locked during the tightening process, which generally occurs between the stainless steel bolt and the stainless steel nut, so it is also called the locking of the screw or the locking of the screw.

The inclination angle of the thread fit and the soft characteristics of stainless steel are easy to cause locking. During the installation process, if the force is uneven or inclined, the central axis of the screw and the nut will be inclined to the maximum extent, and the tooth pattern will be more easily damaged and the occlusion will be locked. The hardness of the screw plug is relatively soft. If the iron filings are rubbed off during the locking process, they will stick and not fall off, thus interfering with the smooth entry and exit of the thread, resulting in the death of the tooth bottom and the tooth top.

Excessive locking force and low thermal conductivity of stainless steel can easily lead to thread locking. During the rotation of the plug and nut, heat is generated due to friction. The thermal conductivity of stainless steel is relatively low. When the pressure and heat generated destroy the chromium oxide layer (the oxide layer that is not easy to rust in stainless steel), the metal tooth pattern is directly blocked/sheared, and the stainless steel is relatively soft, which leads to the occurrence of sticking phenomenon. The greater the locking force, the greater the heat generated, and the more likely the stainless steel in the Asan part of the screw is to be stuck.
