Anti-loosening solutions for drain plugs
With the rapid development of the industry, the oil drain plug is often loosened by some external forces during industrial use, resulting in safety accidents. Therefore, people pay more and more attention to safety and anti-loosening.
There are three commonly used locking methods for oil drain plugs: friction locking, mechanical locking, and permanent locking. Mechanical locking and friction locking are called removable locking, and permanent locking is called non-removable locking.
Mechanical anti-loosening methods include: the use of cotter pins, anti-loosening gaskets, wire ropes, etc. The mechanical anti-loosening method is reliable, and it is recommended to use the mechanical anti-loosening method for important connections.
Anti-loosening friction includes: gasket, nut, anti-drip glue, simply put, a layer of glue is applied to the thread of the oil drain plug, the so-called dispensing. This glue is called anti-drip glue. This adhesive has excellent properties such as high adhesion and non-toxicity. This glue is applied to stainless steel non-standard parts, and after drilling, the adhesion is super strong. After the nut oil drain plug is combined or the product threaded hole is engaged, the oil drain plug has an ultra-tightening effect. Play a super good anti-loosening effect.
Permanent locking methods include spot welding, riveting, bonding, etc. This method often destroys threaded fasteners during disassembly, making it impossible to reuse them.
