Nickel plating is divided into electroplating and electroless nickel plating. Nickel electroplating is composed of nickel salt (called the main salt), conductive salt, pH buffer, wetting agent in the electrolyte, the anode with metal nickel, cathode for plating, through direct current, deposition on the cathode (plating) on a layer of uniform, dense nickel coating. Bright nickel is obtained from the plating solution with brightener, while dark nickel is obtained from the electrolyte without brightener. Nickel plating layer in the air stability is very high, because the metal nickel has a strong passivation ability, on the surface can quickly generate a layer of very thin passivation film, can resist atmospheric, alkali and some acid corrosion.

1) Process formula and process description:
Chemical degreasing: the same formula as the degreasing formula of Xitong steel parts, 60-80℃.
Hot water cleaning: 60-80℃, about 2 minutes.
Cold water cleaning: twice countercurrent rinsing or spray cleaning, room temperature, about 2 minutes.
Electrolytic cleaning: The formula of the alkaline degreasing liquid can be the same as the chemical degreasing liquid formula above, and the anode current density is 30-55 amperes/square decimeter, 15-30 seconds;
Pre-nickel plating: The flash plating solution formula is: 6 water nickel chloride 240 g/l, hydrochloric acid (30-33%) 320ml a few L, anode is nickel plate, part cathode, current density, 3.5-7.5 ampere/dm2 , 2-4 minutes.
