Cylinder Head Nuts

Constructed from fine grain, heat treated, premium 8740 steel with a yield strength of 180,000 psi, these High Performance Cylinder studs feature threads that are rolled after heat treatment. This process retains maximum compressive stresses, delivering superior strength and extended fatigue life. The case end threads are designed with a minor interference fit to ensure good thread engagement under high-temperature conditions. The studs undergo centerless grinding to assure concentricity and receive a high-quality black oxide finish, providing an outstanding look.
